Why did you choose NEC?

I chose NEC for its balance between classical excellence and creative freedom. It was the ideal place to refine my craft while exploring how traditional music could evolve in modern media.

What have you been up to since graduating from NEC? What projects have you been working on? Do you have any goals you are looking to accomplish?

I have been composing and producing for franchises like Final Fantasy, Kingdom Hearts, and Assassin’s Creed. I also lead my own production company, focusing on immersive and interactive music experiences.

What are some of your favorite memories from your time at NEC?

Collaborating with talented peers, late-night rehearsals, spontaneous performances, and sharing new sounds with open-minded musicians. Those creative exchanges shaped my artistic voice.

Share a story about one of your favorite faculty or studio instructors.

One mentor encouraged me to merge orchestral and electronic elements. That moment defined my path into game music and production and made experimentation feel natural.

How have your NEC experiences shaped your artistic approach?

NEC taught me discipline, authenticity, and collaboration. It showed me that mastering tradition gives you the freedom to innovate, a mindset I carry into every project.

Share any other stories about what has inspired you at NEC and beyond.

The global community at NEC inspired me to see music as a universal language that connects cultures, emotions, and ideas. That belief continues to guide my work today.

Do you have any advice for young musicians/current NEC students?

Be fearless and curious. Blend genres, explore technology, and create your own opportunities. Your individuality is your greatest strength.
