Eugenio Elias ’85 of DeQuinta Producciones Receives Jazz at Lincoln Center Global Citizen Jazz Award

Alumnus Eugenio Elias ’85, Artistic Director of the jazz concert production company DeQuinta Producciones, has been honored with the Jazz at Lincoln Center Global Citizen Jazz Award. The award was presented at Jazz at Lincoln Center’s Annual Gala on April 30, recognizing DeQuinta’s outstanding contributions to the global jazz community.

Under Elias’s leadership, DeQuinta Producciones has become a powerful force for cultural exchange and artistic excellence, producing world-class jazz concerts and festivals throughout Latin America and beyond. The Global Citizen Jazz Award honors individuals and organizations who use jazz to build bridges across cultures and promote understanding through music.

The gala, held in New York City, featured performances by acclaimed jazz artists and honored trailblazers whose work advances jazz on a global scale.
