James M. Stephenson '90 to Conduct NEC Wind Ensemble

Composer and conductor James M. Stephenson '90 will conduct the NEC Wind Ensemble in its first concert of the 2023-2024 academic year. The ensemble will perform works by Stephenson and Johannes Brahms. Click here to reserve tickets to the concert on Thursday October 12th at 7:30pm in Jordan Hall.

Conductor and NEC alumnus Joshua Weilerstein '09, '11 MM '10 has been named Music Director of Orchestre National de Lille. Joshua will begin his tenure in September 2024. He will succeed Alexandre Bloch, who is currently at the head of the ONL. "Joshua Weilerstein conducts the world's greatest orchestras.
