Christopher Bassett ’16 joins the San Francisco Symphony

Congratulations to NEC alumnus Christopher Bassett ’16 on his new position as Bass Trombone with the San Francisco Symphony.

Christopher graduated from NEC with a Bachelor of Music in Trombone Performance in 2016, studying with James Markey. He was previously Bass Trombone chair of the St. Louis Symphony Orchestra, The Santa Fe Opera, and the Jacksonville Symphony. Christopher is a co-founder of the Santa Fe Trombone Summit and also maintains a private studio.
