Emily Siar ’22 DMA wins the 2024 NATS Artist Awards Competition

Congratulations to alumna Emily Siar ’22 DMA who placed first at this year's NATS Artist Awards Competition. The competition was held in the Neidorff-Karpati Recital Hall at the Manhattan School of Music in New York City. Receiving first place, Emily was awarded a $5,000 cash prize, a scholarship to attend the American Institute of Musical Studies in Graz, Austria, and a $1,000 gift certificate from Hal Leonard Corporation. She will also be featured in a solo recital at the upcoming 2024 NATS National Conference in Knoxville, Tennessee. Emily graduated from NEC with her Doctor of Musical Arts in Vocal Performance in 2022, studying with Michael Gandolfi and Carole Haber.
