Ivan Linn '13 MM Creates Original Score Featured in NASA's 2024 Total Solar Eclipse Coverage

Alumnus Ivan Linn '13 MM, in collaboration with Alexander Wong, composed the original score Ode to the Sun and Moon, which was featured in Solar System Exploration Research Virtual Institute (SSERVI)'s coverage of the 2024 Total Solar Eclipse. Using AI, Ivan and Alex created music that captures the journey of the total eclipse through all its phases. On April 8, 2024, the total solar eclipse crossed North America, passing over Mexico, the United States, and Canada.

Ivan is the CEO of Wavv, a tech firm enhancing the entertainment industry's landscape through music. He shares in the exclusive behind-the-scenes interview,

"It's a great opportunity to work on this project because we here at Wavv started to figure out different ways of creating music."

Ivan is primarily known for his work in music production for the Final Fantasy and Kingdom Hearts video game series. He is also the Music Director and Chief Conductor of the Assassin's Creed Symphony World Tour. He received his Master of Music degree in Piano Performance in 2013 from NEC.
