Josh Baker '14 joins the Boston Symphony Orchestra and The Boston Pops

We’re happy to share that NEC alumnus Josh Baker '14 has joined the Boston Symphony Orchestra as Associate Principal Bassoon and The Boston Pops as Principal Bassoon for the 2024-2025 season!

After studying under BSO bassoonists Richard Ranti and Richard Svoboda at NEC, Josh has had an incredible orchestral career across the U.S. We are glad to see him return to Boston!
